Tang Studio served as consulting architect in collaboration with design architect FX Collaborative for a mixed-use development project situated at 136-18 Maple Avenue, at the intersection with Main Street in Flushing, Queens. The project encompasses two buildings, covering 20 stories in height and spanning 150,000 square feet.

Tang Studio’s role aided in obtaining approvals from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Port Authority, and the Board of Standards and Appeals (BSA). These approvals were secured to enable additional building height within a flight obstruction zone near the airport—overcoming regulatory hurdles.
