Tang Studio, in collaboration with client and CSC Coliving and B Huber as the interior design architect, has been selected as the lead architectural team for a significant repositioning project involving the iconic 24-story Hudson New York Hotel located at 353 West 57th Street, encompassing 437,000 square feet. The primary objective is to convert the space into a residential complex.

Currently, the initial phase of construction is in progress, with subsequent phases already planned to comprehensively realize the project’s vision. The transformation will result in the creation of 438 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. The design approach prioritizes amenity-friendly, high-density living, where residents will have their individual living quarters while sharing common spaces.
